Holds

Students may request holds on materials that are currently checked out by another patron. When that item becomes
available the student will be notified. They have seven days to check out the reserved items. If the student does not pick
up their hold within seven days, it will either go to the next student on the list or be returned to the normal stacks.
Students with outstanding fines or overdue items will not be able to pick up holds until all previous check-out issues are
resolved.

Interlibrary Loan (ILL)

Student's may request items from the Illinois library system through our library. These items can be of personal interest or for school work. However, items of inappropriate material that would not normally be housed in our library will not be granted (ie: a request for Harry Potter books will not be made). The school librarian retains the right to deny a request based on content.ILL requests can take a week to ten days to be received and is dependent on demand across the state and whether the book is available for lending.
